thermoprops.com is a fast, transparent property-interpolation reference for engineering students working refrigeration, air-conditioning, and thermodynamics problems. Look up a saturated, superheated, or two-phase R-134a state, or find a state from a known property — every result shows the bracketing table rows and the interpolation fraction used to compute it, not just the final number.

That's deliberate. Matching a value against a property table by hand — finding the right rows, working out the fraction, interpolating — is a specific skill students are expected to learn. Hiding those steps behind a single output number would make the tool faster but less useful.

This is a lookup and interpolation aid, not a homework solver. It won't apply compressor efficiencies, choose cycle assumptions, or make the judgment calls that are part of the exercise — those stay with the student. What it removes is the tedium and error risk of manual table lookup and linear interpolation, so more of the effort goes toward the actual engineering.
